UARP

UARP

The UARP is a high-precision reference system developed in Germany for the digital calibration of underwater acoustic transducers, such as hydrophones and projectors. The system includes both hardware and software components, featuring multi-channel transmission and reception (8 receiving / 6 transmitting channels), an integrated reference signal generator, and the TM06SW software suite for acoustic data processing.

All electronics, switches, and connectors are housed in two dedicated racks (Master and Slave), with a control laptop for managing the calibration process. The system is designed to meet strict requirements for underwater acoustic calibration in scientific research, marine surveys, and environmental monitoring.

  • Integrated multi-channel system: 8 receiving channels, 6 transmitting channels
  • Equipped with a reference signal generator for calibration
  • Modular hardware mounted in two racks (Master and Slave) with I/O interfaces
  • Laptop-operated control for calibration procedures, display, and data logging
  • TM06SW software features:
  • Graphical user interface (GUI)
  • Configuration of transmit/receive parameters
  • Signal data saving in *.dat format
  • FFT spectral analysis and time frequency visualization
  • Result reporting and graph export
  • Provides a comprehensive calibration solution for underwater acoustic devices such as hydrophones and projectors, ensuring accurate and consistent measurements
  • Supports multi-channel testing, saving time when calibrating or analyzing multiple devices simultaneously
  • TM06SW software enables intuitive signal monitoring and analysis, improving result interpretation
  • User-friendly interface helps reduce training and setup time
  • Integrated functions for data logging, FFT analysis, and reporting, useful for post-test documentation and review
  • Modular rack-based design simplifies system installation, maintenance, and future upgrades
