Capturing Fast Pressure Transients
Transient pressure phenomena, from valve actuation to shock events, can rise and fall faster than a general-purpose sensor can follow.
Capturing them faithfully demands sufficient sensor bandwidth and sample rate, plus mounting that does not introduce its own resonance into the signal.
Get any of those wrong and the recorded waveform describes the measurement system more than the physical event.
