Pressure Signature Simulation System
Modern influence mines respond to a composite signature, including the simultaneous or sequenced interaction of magnetic, acoustic, and pressure fields produced by a passing vessel. Among these influence channels, the hydrodynamic pressure signature is among the most operationally significant yet technically demanding to replicate with fidelity in a controlled test environment.
As a surface vessel or submarine transits through water, it displaces fluid in a characteristic pattern, which is evaluated against stored target discrimination thresholds. This makes an accurate simulation of this waveform a prerequisite for any credible functional or acceptance test.
The dynamic pressure generation subsystem should be designed to reproduce this vessel-equivalent pressure signature in a laboratory or in-situ environment. The system decouples pressure stimulus from acoustic and magnetic channels, enabling independent channel verification, combined multi-influence sequencing, and fuze discrimination algorithm evaluation against parameterized target libraries.
