1. Purchasing Specialist: Job Responsibilities

  • Manage equipment and BOM (Bill of Materials) for each project, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Schedule and organize meetings with suppliers.
  • Contact, draft, and send emails to domestic and international suppliers to request information on machinery and accessory specifications.
  • Execute purchasing procedures in compliance with internal processes.
  • Monitor delivery progress; inspect the quality, quantity, and standards of goods against initial requirements.
  • Report discrepancies to the technical department and management; handle issues such as product returns or exchanges with suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as technical, production, contract, and finance-accounting to ensure procurement activities meet project requirements and budget compliance.

2. Job Requirements

  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.

Professional Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in purchasing, especially in technical or manufacturing environments, is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and task-handling abilities.
  • Proficient in drafting professional emails.
  • Skilled in researching and understanding technical documents, particularly in English (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with quality control and assurance processes.

Language

  • Proficient in English (minimum TOEIC 650 or equivalent).
