The SS3 system is an advanced multi-parameter underwater simulator integrating three independent subsystems: acoustic, pressure, and magnetic. Designed for laboratory or controlled environment use, the SS3 enables precise generation, measurement, and calibration of underwater signatures.

Each subsystem operates through its dedicated hardware and software interfaces while being centrally controlled via Ethernet for synchronized operation. The platform is ideal for equipment testing, sensor calibration, and multi-influence environment simulation across defense and industrial applications.

  • The acoustic module operates in the 100 Hz–1 kHz band, supporting tone, noise, and mixed-signal generation using a powerful C-Bass projector and M36-900 hydrophone.
  • The pressure system enables hydraulic testing up to 100 bar with 0.025% FS accuracy, controlled through closed-loop software and high-precision reference sensors.
  • The magnetic subsystem simulates dynamic or static magnetic fields using a 3-axis field generator and linear motion control, with real-time field measurement and signature simulation via dedicated software.
  • Generate low-frequency hydroacoustic signals (100 Hz = 1 kHz) with programmable waveforms.
  • Simulate real-time acoustic environments by parametric signature algorithms.
  • Emit sine, noise, and mixed-tone signals with SPL >165 dB re 1μPa @1m.
