The automatic tipping bucket rain gauge is designed and tested in accordance with the guidelines of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the technical standards issued by the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration. Built with a robust structure, it is well-suited for the diverse and harsh weather conditions across Vietnam.

A complete station includes a collection funnel, tipping bucket mechanism, and a data storage and transmission system that sends rainfall measurements directly to the central data center.
