Underwater Acoustic Absorption Test Set

The Underwater Acoustic Absorption Test Set is an integrated measurement system designed to determine the sound absorption characteristics of materials submerged in water across a broad frequency range. It utilizes two complementary methods: an underwater impedance tube for low frequencies following ISO 10534-2 and ASTM E1050-12 standards, and a free-field measurement in an underwater anechoic tank for higher frequencies.

By measuring the standing wave interference patterns and computing complex transfer functions, the system calculates the absorption coefficient, reflection coefficient, and acoustic impedance with high accuracy.
