Metrolab Magnetic Field Camera, MFC3045

The Metrolab MFC3045 Magnetic Field Camera, utilizes a proton NMR sensor Array to simultaneously measure up to 32 field points with better than 5ppm absolute accuracy and 0.1ppm relative accuracy in 0.5 to 2 seconds. Leading MRI Magnet and System manufactures have adopted the MFC3045 to provide a ten times improvement in mapping resolution and a ten times reduction in acquisition period. For example, by using a semicircular Array with 32 field points rotated about the field axis in 32 angular steps, a 1024 point spherical map can be generated in about two minutes. The very high resolution and stability of the MFC also enable measurement of magnet stability and noise effects.
