Spherical Transducers (M18C)

GeoSpectrum's spherical transducers are suitable for a variety of applications, including active/passive sonar, marine mammal detection (MMD), acoustic data transmission, and subsea communications. A spherical transducer may be used with an M620-110 power amplifier if it is intended to be used as a sound source or an M303 transceiver board if it is intended to serve as a sound source and a receiver. GeoSpectrum's spherical transducers provide an omnidirectional response and come in a variety of sizes ranging from 6″ to 0.5″ in diameter and have resonant frequencies covering a band of 11 kHz–150 kHz. GeoSpectrum's spherical transducers are effective as both transmitters and receivers.
